New bird species
New bird species join the ZooParc de Trégomeur
The ZooParc de Trégemeur welcomes three new bird species to enrich its Asian collection: black-headed ibis, European turtle doves, and black-crowned night herons. Their arrival is part of the park’s commitment to showcasing ever richer biodiversity while contributing to the conservation of remarkable species.
New spaces dedicated to bird welfare
These new residents have joined facilities tailored to their needs, promoting their well-being and the expression of their natural behaviours. The European turtle doves and black-headed ibis now live in the Zen aviary, while the black-crowned night herons complement the spaces dedicated to wetland birds.
A discovery in the service of biodiversity
Through welcoming these species, the ZooParc de Trégemeur continues its missions of conservation, awareness-raising, and education about biodiversity. Visitors can now discover these birds with their remarkable characteristics and learn more about the natural habitats they occupy and the challenges related to their preservation.
