Birth of two snow leopards
Two snow leopards were born at ZooParc de Trégomeur
On April 28, 2026, ZooParc de Trégomeur had the pleasure of welcoming two young snow leopards, a birth as rare as it is encouraging for the conservation of this iconic species from the mountains of Asia.
First weeks under close protection
The two cubs, two brothers, are growing up alongside their mother, who is raising them with great care. During their first weeks of life, the park’s teams remained discreet to ensure their peace and proper development.
ZooParc committed to saving the snow leopard
Listed as Vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the snow leopard is threatened by habitat loss, poaching and conflicts with human activities. This birth is part of the European conservation programme (EEP), in which ZooParc de Trékomeur actively participates.
