New aviary

A new aviary for wetland birds at the ZooParc de Trégomeur

The ZooParc de Trégomeur continues to improve its facilities with a new aviary dedicated to flamingos, glossy ibis, white spoonbills and black-crowned night herons. Larger and completely redesigned, it has been conceived to offer the birds an environment closer to their natural living conditions.

A redesigned habitat to encourage natural behaviours

Enlarged by 400 m², the aviary now reaches

1,200 m². Its height has also been doubled to encourage flight, while new pools, nesting areas and adapted vegetation meet the specific needs of the different species.

A new setting to observe birds in a different way

The birds are gradually discovering their new habitat, offering visitors an even more immersive experience. Flamingos, glossy ibis, white spoonbills and black-crowned night herons now live in a space designed for their well-being and the expression of their natural behaviours.

A project in the service of biodiversity

This new aviary illustrates the ZooParc de Trégemeur’s commitment to animal welfare, species conservation and raising public awareness of biodiversity.
